New stuff I've been working on from Jan to Feb so far. There's in total about 10 minutes of music, both teasers here are cuts of the same song.

Going very experimental directions here. This song will feature a Duduk, Oud, Darbuka, and Viola as some instruments. The last three instruments are played by me in person, except for the Duduk VST. An assortment of acoustic guitars both steel string and classical are played here too.
If there are any purists out there, I know it says dungeon synth as the genre, and the snippet I've provided sounds nothing like it. Don't worry, this is towards the end of the piece where it is most expressive and all the instruments come together! The beginning and first half is likened to more traditional D.S.

Sometimes I like to use a piano to think of interesting progressions of melodies. In this case, some of these are just abstract expressions, where I was trying to capture a feeling in a moment in time. Very ambient.

Another tamed down variant.

Some more Dark Ambient exploration I've been doing this past February. I've been inspired by Aphex Twin's "Drukqs". The appendix to this is the song "Gwarek2", and elements from "Ringu", the original "Ring" Japanese horror film. This particular "cursed video" from the Japanese original has some scraping sounds that I liked and found very haunting. Tried to recreate the same feeling here.
Best enjoyed with headphones. It's got some cool panning.

This was a quick one-off track I did in a sitting. I liked the wintery feel of it so I called it Tundra. The reverberated "flickers" towards the end is very Brian Eno to me, thought it sounded it cool.

Love the textures on this one here. Cello VST's are becoming amazing and I liked how expressive it sounds here. I've used a Dulcimer VST as well to compliment the ambient tones.

I really like this track. I've been longing to capture the ambience and the bustling "sterility" of the airport, it's been this weird niche goal of mine to create something like that. This is a starter I think. Recorded on my Korg Minilogue XD
This track sounds like an airport at 2am, when there's no one around, empty seats, and you're at your gate alone with the occasional janitor passing by. You're waiting 6 hours for your next flight while watching the stars through the glass above, and there's a faint hint of aeroplane fuel coming through from the outside

Some experimentation with an old Casio Keyboard of mine going through a pedalboard with some analog delay and other effects. Very old-school Dungeon Synth type stuff, but liked the textures on this.

The backing track of this is essentially "Careful with that Axe Eugene" by Pink Floyd, I've just adapted it in my way and the drums where the drums are a bit busier. Decided to go crazy with my Korg Minilogue XD and my Roland keyboard (E-09), kept as is, with all its happy little accidents.

Diving deep into German cosmic madness. All pretty much created on the Korg Minilogue XD, a beast of a synth honestly.

A variant of the above.

A combination of VSTS from my computer and hardware synths played live. Something magical in capturing these moments. In this instance, I used a KORG Volca Drum as an effect. The "chirping" you hear is the Vocal Drum, occasionally being triggered by me.
