This demo served as a foundation for the rest of Autumn's Dawn, Winter's Darkness. Of course, it ultimately never got reworked or released officially. But I thought I'd pay it homage by placing it here and giving it the small trophy it deserves.

Inspired by Caladan Brood, I ended up scrapping the idea and giving it a home here.

Some sample-based stuff. I like the horns sample in this, always fun creating this kind of music.

Love the groove on this one.

Kind of a Downtempo-inspired song.

This was some sound design done on my Minilogue XD, built from scratch from a sawtooth wave, with heavy effects, LFO and filtering. Pretty menacing and violent sound.

The reverb used here is called "Blackhole", an awesome plugin and sounds fantastic. To all my musician friends, get it when it's on special!

This one was heavily inspired by Gordian Knot. I really liked the track "Fischer's Gambit", especially the Tabla drum usage, so I put a Djembe in mine instead. Those chess fiends among us could put two-and-two together and realise a likeness in song names!

A song inspired by the band "Grails". Emil's work is really inspiring and a little bit underrated. The guy is a fantastic sound engineer and composer.

about

Some tracks are relatively raw and unmixed, while others are more refined. Any content here and their names are subject to change if considered for future releases. Don't hesitate to send me requests on what to talk about next! Most songs have under the "lyrics" a bit of info about some of the tracks.
